Muhammad Raj Honored for Outstanding Contribution to Humanitarian Service at International Human Rights Conference

Muhammad Raj (NouMuslim) has been conferred an international honor in recognition of his special contribution to humanitarian and welfare activities carried out for helpless, oppressed, and disaster-affected people at home and abroad.

The award was presented at the International Human Rights Conference organized by the SAARC Human Rights Foundation, one of the largest human rights organizations in South Asia.

At the conference, former Prime Minister of Nepal Shri Madhav Kumar Nepal and former District Judge of India and former Chairman of the Minorities Commission Mr. Intiyaz Ali Shah were briefed on Muhammad Raj’s national and international humanitarian activities and expressed their deep appreciation. They described his consistent efforts in standing beside helpless people, providing disaster relief, delivering humanitarian services, and working for the welfare of oppressed communities at the international level as commendable and exemplary.

Among the special guests and distinguished personalities featured at the conference were Shri Madhav Kumar Nepal, former Prime Minister of Nepal; Mr. Intiyaz Ali Shah, former District Judge and former Chairman of the Minorities Commission, India; Dr. Ayesha Ramada, Chairman of the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives; and Mr. Jackson Duppa, President of the SAARC Human Rights Foundation, Bhutan.

The conference was attended by human rights activists, former state officials, judges, social workers, and eminent personalities from various countries across South Asia.

A commemorative plaque was handed over to Muhammad Raj in recognition of his special role in humanitarian service at home and abroad. His notable welfare activities include standing beside disaster-stricken people, providing food and medical assistance to helpless families, rehabilitating persons with disabilities, skill development initiatives, and participation in international humanitarian programs.

Upon receiving the honor, Muhammad Raj said, “This honor does not belong to me alone; it is a recognition of the collective efforts of my entire team, well-wishers, associates, and donors who work tirelessly in the service of humanity. This recognition will inspire us to stand beside helpless and oppressed people with even greater responsibility in the future.”

Through this international conference, the SAARC Human Rights Foundation honored individuals and organizations that have played a special role in protecting human rights, establishing peace, ensuring social justice, and promoting human welfare.
