Dhaka Bank honours 16 women entrepreneurs

Dhaka Bank MD and CEO Osman Ershad Faiz, Additional MD AKM Shahnewaz and DMD Md. Mostaq Ahmed, and Additional Director of SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank Hafia Tazreen, among the entrepreneurs who received the award at the Women Entrepreneurs Award Ceremony organized on the occasion of International MSME Day, according to press release.

Dhaka Bank organized an MSME product exhibition on the occasion of International MSME Day 2026. At the same time, it honored 16 women entrepreneurs who received incentives from Bangladesh Bank for repaying loans taken under the ‘Small Enterprise Sector Refinancing Scheme’.

Dhaka Bank announced this in a press release. It said that an MSME product fair was recently organized at Dhaka Bank’s head office in Gulshan, the capital. At the fair, five women entrepreneurs who received loan assistance from Dhaka Bank displayed their products.

The press release said that the program was chaired by Dhaka Bank DMD Md. Mostaq Ahmed, and was attended by MD and CEO Osman Ershad Faiz and Additional Director of SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank Hafia Tazreen.
