‘People look at actresses in a way that isn’t normal’

As discussions continue over Janhvi Kapoor’s close-up scenes in Peddi, Tamannaah Bhatia has shared some of the unpleasant experiences female actors face in the South Indian film industry.

In a recent interview, the 36-year-old actress said, “People in the South Indian film industry often stare in a very unusual way.”

Tamannaah revealed that while working in South Indian films, she has often felt that many people look at actresses in a way that is far from normal. “People keep staring at you. Many times, those stares make you feel uncomfortable,” she said.
