Alia ‘humiliated’ after appearing on controversial host’s show

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has been humiliated by Indian comedian and host Soami Raina, who has been at the forefront of controversies throughout the year for his various offensive and sensitive comments, while appearing as a guest on his show ‘India’s Got Latent’.

The actress was annoyed by the host’s one-on-one sarcasm and sarcastic comments during the show; the actress responded angrily.

After some video clips of this incident were shared on social media, there was a strong reaction among Alia’s fans.

Alia appeared at the event with co-star Sharvari Wagh to promote Yash Raj Films’ upcoming spy thriller Alpha. There, Samoyed Raina kept poking fun at Alia’s acting career and the Cannes Film Festival.

At one point, the comedian commented that while it is a matter of great pride to have a star like Alia on their show, this is the worst time in Alia’s career.

Also, mentioning the controversial issue of foreign photographers ignoring Alia on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival, Soami Raina said that even if she is not noticed there, at least the cameras of this show are focused on Alia.
