Amazon not to release Sam Altman biopic ‘Artificial’

Amazon will not release ‘Artificial,’ a film about the dramatic life of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Amazon’s MGM Studios has abruptly pulled out of the film.

The decision comes after the film, directed by Oscar-nominated director Luca Guadagnino and starring Andrew Garfield, wrapped filming.

But there is no artistic reason behind this sudden decision, but rather a huge tech-business interest is at work.

Last February, Amazon and OpenAI signed a historic partnership agreement worth nearly $50 billion.

Under this agreement, OpenAI will use Amazon’s Web Services and jointly develop custom AI models.
