Poppy on her favourite work with Apurba

Poppy, a once popular heroine, has also acted in good story based dramas and tele-fictions, in addition to acting in movies.

Poppy acted in a tele-fiction with Ziaul Faruq Apurba, a popular TV actor of present time, about 10 years ago. Poppy and Apurba acted in a tele-fiction titled ‘Dupur Akashe Ekla Chil’ directed by B U Shuvo.

This telefilm was shot in the capital’s BFDC and Uttara areas. This telefilm was aired on ATN Bangla during Eid.

Poppy told this correspondent about this tele-fiction, which she acted with Apurba, after a long time, drawing on the relevance of drama and telefilm outside of cinema, “I have actually acted in many films in my life.

I have also won the National Film Award three times. However, I have received quite a response for acting in some dramas and telefilms.

Among them, the telefilm ‘Dupur Akashe Ekla Chil’, in which I acted with Apurba, is my favourite. Apurba is one of my favourite actors.

When I acted with him in the telefilm, at that time, we were both so busy that it was difficult for us to meet up our working schedules.

But with the efforts of director Shuvo, we both worked together and got the job done in the telefilm. After the work was telecast, it received a lot of response. I still remember this

work sometimes. Apurba is a very humble person and a very collaborative artiste. Best wishes for him.”

Apurba shared his feelings by this way, “Poppy is a very glamorous and talented actress in our film industry. I wanted to work with her.

I got to know her through working together. She is an artiste dedicated to her work. I love this work of ours very much. Poppy, wherever you are, stay well, and stay happy with your husband and children.”
