Warfaze to honour Michael Jackson at tribute concert, plans 2 new releases
Legendary Bangladeshi rock band Warfaze is preparing to celebrate its 42nd anniversary with new music and a special tribute concert dedicated to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson in July. Founded in early 1980s, the band officially entered its 42nd year on June 6.
Band leader Sheikh Monirul Alam Tipu said the anniversary coincidentally falls on a scheduled performance date.
He revealed that Warfaze is planning to release two new songs this month. “One of them is a reimagined version of ‘Kromosho’, originally from our 1996 album ‘Jibondhara’.
The song has been rearranged musically and will be released this month. The
other is a title track for a film.”
