Love caused me pain: Tawsif Mahbub

In a recent interview, Tawsif Mahbub spoke openly about his past, the beginning of his career, and his personal life.

During the interview, he said, “People go through pain for many reasons, right? I, too, suffered because of a relationship. The person was also involved in the media industry. At that time, I was not part of the media; I was only involved in music. For some reason, after I got the opportunity to enter the media industry, that person changed completely.”

According to Tawsif, that experience became a turning point in his life. He said, “Later, when I got the opportunity to join the media industry, I made a promise to myself that I would enter this field, but I would never change. In reality, that is exactly what happened. I may have grown older, but those who have known me since the beginning of my career will still say that I am exactly the same person I was back then.”

He added, “I do not believe in the concept of being a ‘star.’ Because I do not believe in it, arrogance or unnecessary change can never become part of who I am. No matter how much someone tries to bring me down or lift me up, they will never be able to change me.”

Speaking about the values he learned from his family, the actor further said, “If I have to mention one quality that has never changed, it is respecting people. I always try to treat everyone with respect. I learned this from my family when I was young. I once read in a book that if you truly want to know what a person is like, observe how they treat people who are considered below them in status. And that behavior should be observed behind the camera, not in front of it.”
