Islami Bank investors for good governance in Daudkandi

Daudkandi, Cumilla, June 2: Local businessmen and investors formed a human chain in Daudkandi on Tuesday, demanding good governance, transparency and restoration of public confidence in Islami banking.

The programme was organized by the Islami Bank Business Community in front of the Islami Bank branch at Daudkandi Municipal Market around 11:00 am. A large number of businessmen, investors and customers joined the event.

Speakers, including investor and business leaders Billal Miajy, Rezaul Haque Sarkar, Abu Bakar Siddique and Ismail Hossain Talukdar, stressed the need for transparency, accountability and effective governance in the bank’s operations to safeguard the interests of customers and investors.

The programme was moderated by real estate businessman Nasir Uddin Ahmed.

At the end of the human chain, the participants urged the authorities to take necessary steps promptly and called upon the business community to remain united in protecting the interests and stability of the bank.
