IFIC Bank opens digital booth at Qurbani cattle market in Tejgaon

IFIC Bank PLC has inaugurated a digital payment booth at the Qurbani cattle market adjacent to Dhaka Polytechnic Institute in Tejgaon to ensure safer, easier, and more efficient financial transactions ahead of Eid ul Azha.

According to a press release, the booth was formally inaugurated on May 24 by senior officials of the bank.

Among those present at the inauguration ceremony were Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, deputy managing director & chief of Loan Performance Management; Helal Ahmed, chief of Branch Business & Head of Operations; and Aynul Islam Chonchol, president, Cattle Market Management Committee, along with other senior officials from the Head Office of IFIC Bank.

Through the booth, customers and cattle traders will be able to avail various digital banking services, including instant account opening, debit card issuance, fund transfer, cash deposit, ATM services, QR payment, POS facilities, and counterfeit note detection services.
