Bangladeshi Prof B. C. Panday wins workplace leadership award in Canada

Bangladeshi academic and technology leader Professor Bivash Chandra Panday has received the prestigious Global Workplace Leadership Award 2026 at the internationally acclaimed Workplace Leadership Institute conference held on May 23, 2026, at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel in Toronto, Canada.

The global conference, organized under the theme “Leading Workplace Transformation,” brought together renowned educators, researchers, innovators, policymakers, corporate leaders, and professionals from different parts of the world. The award recognizes individuals whose visionary leadership, innovation, and humanitarian contributions are making a meaningful impact on society.

Professor Panday was honored for his outstanding contributions in several transformative areas, including visionary leadership, Ethical Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity research, international academic collaboration, sustainable innovation, human-centered technology, education, and community empowerment.

Widely recognized as an educator, humanitarian, researcher, author, and technology innovator, Professor Panday has been actively involved in education, media, advanced technology, leadership development, and international collaboration since 1995. At present, Professor Panday serves as the Founder and President of Universal Humanity Foundation and Universal Global Institute. He also founded TG AI Canada, BiG Clinic Foundation Canada, and CHC Hi-Tech Solution Canada. Through these organizations, he continues to advance initiatives in education, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, healthcare, wellness, leadership, and innovation for communities across the globe.

Among his notable initiatives is a growing partnership involving Stamford University Bangladesh, aimed at developing the institution into a leading International AI Innovation and Cybersecurity Research Center in South Asia. The initiative is being strengthened through strategic cooperation with UHF Canada, UGI Canada, TG AI Canada, BiG Clinic Foundation Canada, and the Workplace Leadership Institute Canada.

This expanding collaboration is helping establish a dynamic Canada–EU–UK–ASEAN–Bangladesh Global Academic and Innovation Ecosystem focused on AI-based education, cybersecurity awareness and research, international academic partnerships, professional leadership development, smart technology innovation, and global governance studies.

Through the internationally connected UGAP™ Global Network, Professor Panday has successfully built bridges among universities, researchers, policymakers, humanitarian organizations, and technology leaders across Canada, Europe, ASEAN nations, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
