Land Service Fair begins today

The Ministry of Land launch a three-day “Land Service Fair 2026” from May 19 to 21 simultaneously across national, divisional, district and upazila levels to expand access to digital land services and improve public awareness of automated land management.

The event will be inaugurated at Bhumi Bhaban in Tejgaon at 10:30am today, with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman scheduled to formally open the fair, according to an official press release.

Under the theme “People-Friendly Automated Land Management: Secure Land, Prosperous Future,” the fair will offer on-the-spot services including e-mutation, land tax payment, khatian and map distribution, land.gov.bd registration support and grievance redress.

The ministry said the initiative aims to reduce public suffering by ensuring transparent and hassle-free access to land-related services through digital systems.

Alongside service delivery, the fair will feature awareness sessions, cultural events, quizzes and exhibitions, with participation from government agencies, local representatives, educational institutions, civil society and the media.
