Nahid fires in PSL final

Peshawar Zalmi picked up Nahid Rana from Bangladesh for the final with high expectations.

However, the Bangladesh pacer did not disappoint the team.

Nahid really set the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final on fire on Sunday with his bowling.

He took 2 wickets of Hyderabad Kingsmen for just 22 runs for Peshawar.

As a result, Hyderabad was bowled out for 129 runs after batting first against Peshawar Zalmi. Babar Azam finally won the trophy as captain.

Peshawar Zalmi defeated Hyderabad Kingsmen by 5 wickets in the PSL final.

Opener Maj Sadaqat and captain Marnus Labuschagne put on 16 runs in the opening partnership. Maj was dismissed after scoring 11 runs off 6 balls.

Another opener, Labuschagne, returned to the dressing room at the top of the team’s 51 runs.

The captain played an innings of 20 runs off 12 balls.

Nahid Rana came to bowl in the 6th over of the innings.

He did not get a wicket in that over. He gave away 13 runs.

Yet Captain Babar Azam repeatedly trusted Nahid Rana. In the 8th over, Rana took the ball again. This time he gave away only 5 runs.

. In the same over, Kusal Perera was run out and returned to the dressing room.

Nahid Rana claimed that he had stopped him, but that claim was ignored, Perera was out.

Nahid Rana returned to bowling in the 14th over. This time it seemed even more impeccable.

He returned Hunain Shah to the dressing room in the maiden over. He took 2 wickets for 18 runs in 3 overs.

Saim Ayub, who was playing with one end in front, picked up a fifty. None of the others scored a significant run.

Nahid Rana returned to bowling in the 17th over. He had Saim LBW on the first ball of the over.

However, Saim survived with a review. Rana gave away 4 runs in that over.

No wickets. Rana finished his bowling quota by taking 2 wickets for 22 runs with 1 maiden in 4 overs.

Hyderabad Kingsmen were bowled out for 129 runs in 18 overs. Saim, who was dismissed as the penultimate batter, played an innings of 54 runs off 50 balls.
