Dutch-Bangla Bank records 965cr net profit for 2025

Dutch Bangla Bank PLC (DBBL) has posted an improvement in its financial performance for the year ended December 31, 2025.

The bank recorded a net profit after tax & provisions of Tk965 crore for the year 2025, registering a growth of 104per cent (2.04 times) compared to the previous year.

The 307th meeting of the board of directors of Dutch Bangla Bank PLC was held on April 28, 2026, under the chairmanship of Sadia Rayen Ahmed, chairman of the board of directors of the bank.

The board approved the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2025 and declared 30per cent dividend (25per cent cash and 5per cent Stock) for 2025, against 20per cent dividend (10per cent cash and 10per cent stock) in 2024.

Earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk9.98 as on December 31, 2025, compared to Tk4.90 in the previous year, Net Assets Value (NAV) at Tk62.14 against Tk53.39, demonstrating enhanced shareholder value.

In terms of financial stability, the bank’s capital to risk-weighted assets ratio (CRAR) stood at 17.13per cent against 13.83per cent in 2024, well above the regulatory requirement.
