Rupanjana gets rape threat after leaving BJP

The first phase of voting for the West Bengal assembly elections has already been held.

Amidst fight between Trinamool Congress (TMC) and BJP, actress Rupanjana Mitra has single-handedly taken a dig at BJP.

Rupanjana has faced a lot of criticism since she left the BJP and joined TMC. She has also been the target of objectionable comments on social media.

Although she has denied all these, she has reacted angrily to rape threats.

Rupanjana said, “Don’t come to scare true Bengalis. You rape them with your eyes.

Then you talk about rape shamelessly. Virtual comments don’t require courage, when you face them, you will understand how far you are going.”
