Standard Islami Bank inaugurates Haj Booth at Ashkona

Md. Siddiqur Rahman Managing Director (Acting) of Standard Islami Bank PLC officially inaugurates a Haj Booth of the bank at Haj Camp, Ashkona in the city on Sunday. Director (Joint Secretary) of the Haj Office Ministry of Religious Affairs Md. Lokman Hossain attends the ceremony as special guest.

Standard Islami Bank PLC on Sunday inaugurated its Haj booth at the Ashkona Haj Camp, Dhaka to provide various services to Haj pilgrims for the year 2026.

The booth was officially inaugurated by the acting Managing Director of the bank Md. Siddiqur Rahman. Director (Joint Secretary) of the Haj Office, in the city , Ministry of Religious Affairs Md. Lokman Hossain attended the ceremony as special guest.

Free passport endorsement, foreign currency exchange and Haj information services will be provided to Haj pilgrims from the Booth.

EVP &Head of Investment Risk Management Division Md. Iqbal, Head of SME, Retail & Agriculture Banking Division Md. Amzad Hossain Fakir, Head of GSD (acting) Major Ahmed Mustafa Syrus (Retd.), Alam along with other officials of the bank were present in the ceremony.

After inauguration, the bank handed over gift packages to the Haj pilgrims containing necessary items for Haj.
