The Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with international partners to organize the upcoming Dhaka International Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG).
The agreement was signed on April 11 at the BTMA office in Dhaka with Shanghai Textile Association, Link Well Exhibition Co. Ltd. and ECO Expo Bangladesh.

Under the agreement, the parties will jointly plan, organize, promote and manage the DTG exhibition, which is held annually in Dhaka. The exhibition is considered a major international platform showcasing the latest advancements in textile and garment machinery, technology and solutions.
Industry stakeholders believe that this collaboration will strengthen international cooperation in Bangladesh’s textile and apparel sector, while also enhancing the country’s reputation as a global hub for textile manufacturing.
The partnership is expected to foster innovation, expand trade opportunities and support sustainable growth in the sector by connecting local manufacturers with global technology providers.
DTG 2026 is scheduled to take place from December 16 to 19 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka.
Leaders from participating organizations expressed optimism that the event will attract international exhibitors, investors and industry professionals, contributing to the modernization and competitiveness of Bangladesh’s textile industry.
