Prime Bank promotes Md Ziaur Rahman to AMD

Prime Bank PLC has promoted MdZiaurRahman to the position of additional managing director.

With more than 30 years of diverse experience in the banking sector, Rahman has served in key roles including branch manager, head of credit risk management, head of syndicate and structured financing, and head of corporate business, alongside years of experience in compliance.

Before joining Prime Bank as deputy managing director, he served in various senior capacities at Dhaka Bank, NRB Bank and Eastern Bank.

Prior to this promotion, he had been serving as deputy managing director of the bank since 2021.

He is currently also serving as chief anti-money laundering compliance officer and chief risk officer of the bank. Rahman obtained his master’s degrees from the University of Dhaka.
