Body of Tamil actress Subhashini recovered

Popular Tamil actress Subhashini Balasubrahmanyam has died mysteriously. She was a familiar face of the South Indian small screen for her role in the serial ‘Kayaal’.

She was found dead at her home in Chennai on Monday. Although it was initially suspected to be a suicide, an investigation is underway to confirm the exact cause.

The 36-year-old Sri Lankan-born actress, who was staying at a rented house in Ayyappanthangal, near Porur in Chennai, where she was staying during the shoot, moved in early last month. The tragic incident reportedly took place there on Sunday night.
