Bangladesh Under-20 Football team emerged the champions in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Under-20 Championship after defeating India Under-20 Football team by 4-3 goals in the tie-breaker of the final at the Male International Football Stadium in Maldives on Friday night.
The stipulated ninety-minute match was ended in a goalless draw. Thus, the fate of the match was decided in the penalty shoot-out and Bangladesh won the match and clinched the championship title.
