Rain, thunderstorms likely across country

Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning flashes are likely at a few places across the country in 24 hours commencing 9 am on Monday, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

Parts of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions may experience such weather, with chances of hailstorms at isolated locations, said a Met office bulletin.

Day temperature may fall slightly, while night temperature is expected to rise slightly across the country, according to the forecast.
