Now is time for Sabila

From the small screen to the big screen, Sabila Nur made a grand debut last year with the film ‘Taandob’, where she starred opposite Dhaka’s megastar Shakib Khan.

After a few months of waiting, her new film ‘Bonolota Express’ has been released this Eid-ul-Fitr. Alongside this, news has emerged that she has joined an even bigger upcoming project.

Altogether, it seems Sabila’s career is at its peak. She is currently busy promoting ‘Bonolota Express’, visiting different cinema halls and watching the film with audiences, receiving immediate reactions.

Sabila Nur said, “This Eid is very special for me. The biggest achievement is watching the film with the audience.

I tried to watch it with them from the very first day of Eid. I cannot express how positive the response has been. The audience is praising not only the film but also my character ‘Chitra’.”

Bonolota Express is based on the novel ‘Kichukkhon’ by legendary writer and filmmaker Humayun Ahmed and is directed by Tanim Noor.

Meanwhile, since last Friday, the film has been screened in 19 theatres across Australian cities including Bankstown, Campbelltown, and Carousel.

Amid the ongoing success of this release, more good news has come for Sabila Nur. It was already known before Eid that she would star opposite Shakib Khan in his next film. The shooting of that film, titled ‘Rockstar’, has now begun in Malaysia.

Shakib Khan has already joined the shoot, and Sabila will be joining soon. It is that filming will continue at various locations in Malaysia until March 29. The film is being made for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha and is directed by Azman Rusho.

Sabila said, “I don’t want to say much about the film right now. However, I can say that there will be many surprises.”
