According to latest ICC rankings: Miraz world No 2 ODI all-rounder
All-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz improved his position, according to the latest International Cricket Council (ICC). He has taken the second position in top ten all-rounders of ODI cricket. His rating point is 280. Spinner Miraz has also advanced his position in bowling. The spinner has taken the seventh position.
Bangladesh Cricket team showed a superb performance in the recently concluded three-match ODI series against Pakistan at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s mirpur. The hosts clinched the ODI series 2-1 against the tourists.
Pacer Nahid Rana was the most successful bowler in the ODI series, which concluded recently. Nahid Rana captured five wickets in the space of 24 runs in the first ODI.
He grabbed more three wickets in the last two ODI matches. He claimed altogether eight wickets in three ODI matches with an average of 18.12. The pacer has taken 98th position after crossing 65 steps.
Right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed and left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman have also improved their position. Taskin Ahmed bagged six wickets playing three ODI matches. He has taken 28th position after advancing 12 steps. Mustafizur Rahman picked up five wickets playing three ODI matches. He advanced 13 steps.
Opener Tanzid Hasan was in a good rhythm in the three-match ODI series against the neighbouring country. He remained unbeaten with 67 runs in the first ODI. He hit 107 runs in the third match. It was his maiden century in his any international formats.
He hit a century in his ODI mission. He could not write century in his name in Test cricket or T20I cricket. Tanzid Hasan has taken 55th position after advancing 31 steps.
