Bangladeshi actress Adhora stars in US-made story
A telefilm exploring the loneliness of expatriate life and the hidden sorrows behind masks has been created by U.S.-based filmmaker Noyeem Imtiaz Neamul.
Titled “Frame Badha Bondhutto”, the telefilm features Canadian-based Dhallywood actress Adhora Khan. Also starring in the production are Mamnun Hasan Emon and Emdad H. Bhuiyan.
The film’s tagline is “Time changes, friendship does not.” The entire shooting took place at various locations across New York.
Speaking about the story, director Noyeem Imtiaz Neamul said, “This telefilm portrays the struggles of Bangladeshis living abroad-the untold stories behind their smiles.
I hope the telefilm, which delves into the loneliness of expatriate life and the hidden pain behind masks, will be well-received by audiences.”
This is the first time Adhora has acted in a telefilm. When asked why she took the role, she said, “My character in this telefilm is negative.
I wanted to experiment and explore a different type of role. I also realized that I can perform in diverse characters. I hope audiences will enjoy the telefilm once it is released.”
The director mentioned that the telefilm will be released on a YouTube channel in time for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
