Actor Baidya Nath Saha dies

Veteran actor Baidya Nath Saha has died at the age of 73. He passed away on March 3 evening at a hospital in Jashore, where he was being treated for age related illness.

He began his career in theatre in Jashore before moving to television in the 1980s. He appeared in popular TV productions such as ‘Nodi Theke Somudre’, ‘E Modhur Khela’, and ‘Shrabone Boshonto’, and was known for his role in the serial ‘Lal Nil Beguni’.

On screen, he acted in Bangladeshi films and shorts, including ‘Adam’ (2023), ‘Damal’ (2022), and the short ‘Sultan’ (2018). His work also included television movies and music videos.
