28 cricketers in BCB central contract

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has published the list of cricketers under national team contract this year. 28 cricketers have been included in the central contract of cricketers.

This contract will be effective from January 2026 to December. This time, there is no ‘A’ plus category in the contract.

The grades of cricketers have been divided into four categories. No salary increase has been made in any category this time.

However, the number of contracted cricketers has increased. This time, it has increased from 22 to 28.

Parvez Hossain Emon, Tanvir Islam, Hasan Murad have been included in the contract for the first time. Saif Hassan, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Nayeem Hasan, Shamim Hossain have returned to the contract.

The salary in Grade A is set at Taka 8 lakh per month. Four cricketers have been included in this category. Najmul Hossain Shanto, Litton Das, Taskin Ahmed and Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

The salary for Grade B is Taka 6 lakh per month. There are 11 cricketers in this category-Mushfiqur Rahim, Mominul Haque, Taijul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Towhid Hridoy, Hasan Mahmud, Nahid Rana, Shadman Islam, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Rishad Hossain and Sheikh Mehedi Hasan.

The salary for Grade C is Taka 4 lakh-Soumya Sarkar, Jaker Ali Anik, Shoriful Islam, Nasum Ahmed, Khaled Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib.

And the last Grade D salary is Taka 2 lakh. There are seven cricketers in this category- Parvez Hossain Emon, Saif Hassan, Naeem Hasan, Tanvir Islam, Hasan Murad, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Shamim Hossain in this category.
