Salman’s movies free for 3 days at BFDC

September 6 was the 30th death anniversary of late film actor Salman Shah. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has organised a three-day film screening in his memory. Viewers will get the opportunity to watch his movies for free.

The exhibition titled ‘In Memory of Salman Shah’ began on Sunday and will continue till September 8.

One film will be screened every day at 4:00pm at the VIP projection auditorium of the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) in Tejgaon, Dhaka.

On Monday, ‘Keyamat Theke Keyamat’ (1993), directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan. Salman Shah and Moushumi made their debut as a pair in Dhallywood through this film. It also starred Rajib, Abul Hayat and Ahmed Sharif.

The last day of the festival will feature Matin Rahman’s ‘Tomake Chai’ (1996). Salman’s heroine was Shabnur. Khalil and Amal Bose played other roles.
