A man named Mawlana Nazmul Islam Niaz (50), a resident of Kulaura, was killed in a tragic road accident in Sylhet while trying to bring the body of his cousin. Sylhet South Surma at 7 am on Sunday
The accident took place in the garbage dump area.

The deceased Mawlana Nazmul Islam was the son of the late Shamsul Islam of Abu Talibpur village in Joychandi union of Kulaura upazila and the president of the Kulaura Press Club, Azizul Islam. Brother. Journalist Azizul Islam said that his cousin Abdul Ahad lived in the Sylhet Airport area. He was a former imam of a mosque in the area. Abdul Ahad died on Saturday due to old age.

When he died, Mawlana Nazmul Islam left for Sylhet to bring his body. On the way, when he reached the garbage dump area in South Surma, Sylhet, the car carrying Mawlana Nazmul Islam was hit by a speeding vehicle. He lost control and met with a terrible accident. Mawlana Nazmul Islam died on the spot. At that time, the driver and two other passengers in the private car were also seriously injured.

Mawlana Nazmul Islam is a local of Al Hera.
He was a teacher at the academy.
The funeral prayers of the deceased Mawlana Nazmul Islam were held at 9 pm on Sunday at the Abutalibpur Jame Mosque premises.
