Showbiz stars voted on Thursday in the 13th National Parliament Elections. The election results were announced.

At such a time, popular actress Azmeri Haque Badhon posted a post on Friday morning, the day after the election.

In the post, Badhon shared a collage of two photos. In it, one is seen wearing a burqa, the other is in modern clothes.

She also added a suggestive message explaining the difference between the two photos.

The actress has been trolled many times. Many people even advised her to buy a burqa and wear it. Now, the actress has given a strong reply to those critics in that message.

Especially for those who had personally attacked her before the elections, she wrote, “This picture is especially for those who told me to ‘buy a burqa’.

Let me inform you that since childhood, I have been wearing a burqa regularly in my daily life.”

Badhon wrote, “To me, it (the burqa) is just a garment, nothing more, nothing less.

Sometimes it’s very effective for simple tasks like covering up pajamas or hiding
a greasy head, or for blending in with a crowd in public. It’s that simple.”

Meanwhile, Badhon ended her message on a positive note, paying tribute to all those who won and lost in the election.

She said, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to those who won. And to those who did not win, this experience itself is a victory.

This is our country. We have to move forward together with respect and unity. This is our main goal. I love my country.”
