Job Fair held at Gouripur Technical School and College

A day-long Job Fair was held at Gouripur Technical School and College in Gouripur upazila of Mymensingh district on Thursday with the aim of creating employment opportunities for unemployed youth and enhancing their professional skills. The fair, organized on the premises of Gouripur Government Technical School and College, featured stalls from 12 public and private employment agencies. Over 312 job seekers registered for the event. Based on qualifications and interviews, 194 students and unemployed skilled people were immediately offered jobs at different companies. The resumes of other candidates were also collected, and organizers said that employment opportunities would be provided later based on merit.
The seminar was chaired by Engineer Siddique Ahammad, Principal of Gouripur Government Technical School and College, and moderated by Senior Instractors Engineer Latifur Rahman and Engineer Ashraful Islam presented the keynote paper. Sejuti Dhar, Director of Directorate of Technical Education, Mymensingh Division attended the seminar as the chief guest while Engineer Md. Kepayet Ullah, Principal of Mymensingh Polytechnic Institute, Debashish Karmakar, Additional Superintendent of Police, Gouripur Circle were present.as the special guests.
