Annual confce of Meghna Life Insurance held at Cox’s Bazar

The three day annual conference of Meghna Life Insurance PLC was held with great success from 28-30 January 2026 at the Long Beach Hotel in Cox’s Bazar.
The conference was presided by the Chief Executive Officer (In-Charge) Mohammad Tarek, FCA, Company Chairman Nizam Uddin Ahmed attended as the Chief Guest, Vice Chairman Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Director Riaz Uddin Ahmed spoke as special guests and Consultant Head of Marketing Joynal Abedin Bhuiyan delivered speech on business statements.
Senior Executives of the company were present and contributed at the event’s discussion. The Chief Guest, Special Guests, Chief Executive Officer (In-Charge) and Consultant Head of Marketing delivered important directional speeches to the development officers and associates attending the conference.
The speakers laid special emphasis on increasing the first year and renewal premiums as well as reinstating lapsed policies in order to achieve the business targets set in 2026. It was hoped that the development officers and associates would continue their utmost efforts towards this end.
Chairman Nizam Uddin Ahmed, in his speech, expressed satisfaction with the overall business activities of Meghna Life Insurance PLC in the 2025 business year. He said that the company business will grow at a satisfactory rate from 2026 onwards and will continue in the coming years also.
He expressed his hope to organize an annual conference with the participation of more officers and employees in the coming years and also informed about the company plans to celebrate its 30th anniversary on a large scale.
Nearly one thousand development officers and associates attended the conference, where 25 Zone In-charges and Financial Associates were awarded honorary crests and medals for qualifying in various categories during the 2025 business year.
In his closing remarks at the conference, the company CEO reiterated his commitment to continue expanding Meghna Life Insurance PLC business growth in 2026 while maintaining customer trust, service quality and professionalism.
