Job fair held at RPI

Rangpur Polytechnic Institute (RPI) organized a job fair on the institute premises with the funding of the ASSET project to create employment opportunities for diploma engineering students.

On Saturday, the day-long job fair was inaugurated by RPI Principal Abu Hamed Md. Zakaria Shahid, with Khandaker Md. Nahid Hasan, Regional Director of Rangpur Region of the Directorate of Technical Education, as the chief guest. The chief guest expressed hope that through this, a bright future will be started by creating employment for young engineers. The principal thanked the employers who participated in the job fair for extending their helping hands in creating employment.

RAPII, Chief Instructor (Tech/Civil) Yusuf Ali, Instructor (Tech/Civil), M. M. Shahjahan Islam, Instructor and Head of Department (Tech/Mechanical) Md. Shahidul Islam Shaon, etc. Stalls were allotted to the employer in the said job fair and more than 250 students participated by meeting them directly. Out of these, about 100 people were immediately assured of employment.
