Everyone should protest together: Subhasree

After the harassment of actress Mimi Chakraborty on a stage in Bangaon, Kolkata, popular film actress Subhasree Ganguly has spoken out on the issue.

Referring to humiliation of colleague Mimi, Subhashree said, “One thing we have been noticing for some time now is that celebrities, especially female stars, are becoming very soft targets for people.

Are we accepting this? Are we getting used to this kind of behaviour? What is happening is not desirable in any way. We should all protest against it together.

We should keep in mind that each of us is an artiste. We work for respect. Of course we get paid, but those who pay us have not bought our heads.”
