The TIB came up with the demand at a human chain organised in Kishoreganj town’s Syed Nazrul Square (Param Chattar) marking International Clean Energy Day -2026.

The organisation also called for the cancellation of the current fossil fuel-dependent energy master plan.

TIB’s efforts align with global initiatives to combat climate change and advance sustainable energy, urging Bangladesh to take a significant step toward a greener future.
