Lions International Second Vice President Dr Manoj Shah to Visit Bangladesh

Dr Manoj Shah, the Second International Vice President of Lions International, is set to arrive in Dhaka this Wednesday (January 22, 2026) for a four-day official visit. He will be accompanied by his wife, Zaina Shah.
The visit comes at the official invitation of Lions International Multiple District 315, Bangladesh. According to a press release issued by the organisation today, Dr Shah’s flight is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 5:45 PM on Wednesday.
Key Highlights of the Visit
During his stay, Dr Shah is expected to engage in a series of high-profile activities:
Project Inspections: He will visit several permanent service projects operated by Lions International in Dhaka and Chattogram.
Member Engagement: He will participate in exchange meetings with local Lions leaders and general members to discuss the future of Lionism in the region.
Strategic Programs: Attendance at various designated programs aimed at strengthening community service.
Significance of the Tour
Lion Md. Ashraf Hossain Khan Heera, Council Chairperson and GAT Chairperson of Multiple District 315, Bangladesh, emphasised the importance of this high-level visit.
“This visit is highly significant for the Lions movement in Bangladesh. It will further accelerate our service activities and strengthen the recognition of Bangladesh’s Lions activities on the international stage,” he stated.
Departure
After completing the four-day tour, Dr Manoj Shah and Zaina Shah are scheduled to depart from Dhaka on the morning of January 25.
