BAGHC felicitates Ven Prajnananda

The Banophool Adibashi Green Heart College (BAGHC) felicitated the distinguished Buddhist monk Ven. Prajnananda Mahathera.

This reception was organised as a sign of honor and admiration towards him as he inaugurated the 5th Sangharaj of the ‘Parbatya Bhikkhu Sangha Bangladesh’.

This reception ceremony was held recently on the premises of the college. The reception was presided over by the college’s Rector Professor Tarun Kanti Barua, says a press release.

At the beginning of the program, recites were made from various religious scriptures and the national anthem was sung in unison. The 5th Sangharaj Ven. Prajnananda Mahathera was welcomed with floral greetings by the college’s demonstrator Samia Akhter Lamiya.

During this time, the Rabindra Sangeet ‘Aguner Parashamoni Choyao Prane’ was performed in the collective voice of teachers and students. The Principal of Banophool adibashi green heart college Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Dhar welcomed every one at the event.

The welcome speech was delivered by Mustakiya Mahmuda Parvin, the teacher representative of the college governing body. The special correspondent of the Kaler Kantho Mr. Shariful Alam Sumon spoke as the guest of honor.
