Voter awareness drive in Saghata

Saghata Upazila administration of Gaibandha organized a meeting in the Upazila Parishad Hall regarding the 15th National Parliamentary Election and Referendum. The meeting focused on raising voter awareness and informing the public, as well as discussing law and order.,

On Tuesday, the meeting was chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ashraful Kabir. Speeches were delivered by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Ratan Kumar Dutta, Saghata Police Station Investigation Officer Mahbub Alam, Upazila Agriculture Officer Asaduzzaman, Fisheries Officer Mizanur Rahman, Bonarpara Police Investigation Center In-Charge Abdul Kaiyum, Bonarpara Railway GRP Police Station In-Charge Kamal Uddin, Women Affairs Officer Paban Kumar Sarkar, Ghuridah Union Parishad Chairman and Upazila BNP Member Secretary Selim Ahmed Tulip, Kachua Union Parishad Chairman Liaqat Ali, Muktinagar Union Parishad Chairman Ahsan Habib Lion, Saghata UP Panel Chairman Rozina Begum, Bharatkhaly UP Panel Chairman Abdul Jalil, among others.

The UNO instructed members present to take strict action against drug dealers and lawbreakers. He also called for creating general voter awareness to ensure a fair, impartial, and transparent 15th National Parliamentary Election.
