Devil Hunt Phase 2 Operation: 39 held in city

As part of the ongoing Devil Hunt Phase-2 Operation, police arrested thirty nine people from different parts of the capital in 24 hours till Sunday morning.

Among the arrestees, five were arrested from Banani area, ten from Khilkhet, three from Mirpur, eight from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area and 13 from Jatrabari area, said deputy commissioner (DC) Talebur Rahman of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.

Police also recovered 12 kgs of hemp from their possession.

They were arrested in different criminal cases, he said.
