Police arrest six over immoral acts in Kalabagan

Police conducted a special operation at Shahjalal Guest House in Kalabagan’s 40 Lake Circus area under Kalabagan Police Station, arresting six individuals, three young men and three women on charges of engaging in immoral activities.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Media and Public Relations Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the details.

The raid took place on Tuesday evening. The arrested were identified as Pran Gupta (28), Poppy Rani (25), Md. Moshiur Rahman (27), Sadia Afrin (24), Md. Hasan (32), and Jannatul Ferdous Tisha (22).
They have been produced before a Metropolitan Magistrate’s court under Section 74 of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance, 1976.

DC Rahman said that such operations will continue to maintain strict law and order in the area.
