In a continued effort to uphold social responsibility and humanitarian duties, the Bangladesh Navy Family Welfare Association (BNFWA) distributed winter clothing to poor, destitute, and cold-stricken people in Dhaka on Monday.
The event took place in the city’s Mirpur-14 ares, where BNFWA President Nadia Sultana served as the chief guest and handed out the garments, says a press release.

Other attendees included the Chairperson of BN Ladies Club Dhaka, Chairperson of BNFWA Dhaka, vice presidents of the BNFWA central committee, the Commander of Dhaka Naval Area, and members of the BNFWA Dhaka branch executive committee.

During the program, the BNFWA president distributed winter clothes to underprivileged children, persons with disabilities, elderly men and women, and other helpless and poverty-stricken individuals. Funded entirely by the association’s own resources, the initiative aimed to alleviate the suffering of the vulnerable and stand by their side.

She inquired about the well-being of those present and assured them that the Bangladesh Navy and BNFWA remain committed to supporting ordinary people during winter hardships. Such efforts highlight the Navy’s humanitarian ethos and social accountability
