Naim hits half-century: Easy win for Chattogram in BPL Cricket

Chattogram Royals recorded an easy nine-wicket win over Sylhet Titans in their match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Chasing Sylhet Titans’ total of 126 for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs, Chattogram Royals sailed home making 130 for the loss of one wicket when they had 24 balls to spare.

Chattogram Royals had a solid start with two openers Mohammad Naim and Adam Rossington put on together 115 runs in the opening stand before Naim was dismissed by Rahatul Ferdous. Naim hit a windy 52. His 37-ball innings was laced with three sixes and four fours. He was adjudged the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.

After dismissal of Naim, Adam Rossington and one-down Shadman Islam helped their side to reach the victory target.

Adam Rossington remained unbeaten with 73 runs. His 53-ball knock was belted with eight fours and two sixes.
Rahatul Ferdous took one wicket for 29 runs.

Earlier, Azmatullah Omarzai fought back against the superb bowling attack of Chattogram bowlers. Omarzai hit a polished 44. His 41-ball innings had four fours and one sixes.

Rahatul Ferdous, Parvez Hossain Emon, Zakir Hasan and Nasum Ahmed could reach the double digit figures.
Rahatul Ferdous remained unbeaten with 17 runs.

Parvez Hossain Emon scored 17 runs, while Zakir Hasan made a run-a-ball 15 runs. Nasum Ahmed remained unbeaten with 13 runs.

Mahedi Hasan, Mirza Baig bagged a couple of wickets each giving 18 and 24 runs respectively.
Mukidul Islam, Aamer Jamal and Shoriful Islam picked up one wicket each for 11, 27 and 29 runs respectively.
