Rossington does it for Chattogram to win in BPL

An unbeaten 60 runs by Adam Rossington and four stumping by him powered Chattogram Royals to achieve a resounding 10-wicket victory over Dhaka Capitals in their match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Friday. Adam Rossington was adjudged the Player of the Match.

Chasing Dhaka Capitals’ paltry total of 122 off 19.4 overs, Chattogram Royals romped home making 123 for the loss none when they had 44 balls to spare.

Mohammad Naim and Adam Rossington played the key role to reach the victory target contributing together exact 123 runs for the unbroken opening stand.

Mohammad Naim remained unbeaten with 54 runs. His 40-ball innings was laced with seven fours and a sixer.
Wicketkeeper-batter Adam Rossington remained undefeated with 60 runs. His 36-ball knock was ornamented with nine fours and two sixes.

Earlier, Nasir Hossain and Mohammad Saifuddin of Dhaka Capitals could build a notable partnership scoring together 48 runs for the eighth wicket stand before Nasir Hossain (17) was dismissed by Shoriful Islam when Dhaka Capitals’ score was 114 for the loss of eight wickets.

Mohammad Saifuddin remained unbeaten with 33 runs. His 25-ball innings had four fours.
One-down Osman Khan was the other batter, who could reach the double digit figures. He scored 21 runs from 15 deliveries with three fours. He was stumped out by Adam Rossington off Tanvir Islam.

Shamim Hossain (4), Sabbir Rahman (9) and Imad Hossain (9) was also the victim of stumping of Adam Rossington.

Tanvir Islam and Shoriful Islam grabbed three wickets instead of eight and 18 runs respectively, while Mahedi Hasan bagged two wickets at the cost of 34 runs.
Besides, Aamer Jamal took one wicket for 22 runs.
