Happy New Year!: 2025 in the Memory Page — 2026 in the Future Dream

The Sun of 2025 is on the way to disappear in the sunset according to the infallible rules of Mahakal. Each grain of sand in the hourglass of time reminds us of the epic of achievements, failures, joys and pains of the days gone by.The year 2025 was a turning point in history—where we fought against the odds, dreaming of a better world. Today, as we stand at the door of 2026, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the past; and inexhaustible expectations for the future.

We want to pause at this moment to look back and map out the bright future ahead. It is not just a change of year, but a new commitment to the emancipation of humanity and the establishment of world peace.

In this part of the article I am bringing up the subject of all the deprived and neglected people of the world in the past years:
1. From the dusty lanes of the Rohingya camp right under our noses to the bloody township of faraway Listin, wherever there is a cry, there is a bleeding heart.
2. In 2025, those who have lost their homes, those who have lost their relatives and fought only to survive, will we sympathize and owe the world conscience today to that infinite patience.
3. The tears of the innocent children of Palestine and the sighs of the Rohingya remind us that humanity is still bound by the chains of subjugation.
4. We dream that in 2026 the parrot of peace will fly in the skies of Palestine and the Rohingyas will have the right to return to their homeland with dignity.
5. Love in our hearts for all the deprived, abused and neglected people of the world; We will always be vocal in fighting for your rights.
6. Let 2026 be the year of liberation for you, where food will replace hunger and birds chirping instead of the sound of bombs.
7. Let no border or barbed wire obstruct the fundamental rights of people—this is our prayer for the future.
8. In 2026, may every oppressed person regain their sense of identity and may the world become equally livable for all.

Can’t we express this optimism standing at the pinpoint of 2025 and 2026: Let there be a safe paradise for children.Because children are the bearers and carriers of the future. But is the current world really safe for them? To make 2026 a livable year for children, we need to bring about radical changes.It is our moral responsibility to protect them from the risks of climate change, ensure quality education, and gift a world free from war.

In 2026, we want to see a world where every child goes to school, no child is engaged in child labor.We need to protect them from the dark world of the internet and develop healthy entertainment and creativity. Ensuring parks, playgrounds, and clean air for children should be the main goals of politicians and urban planners.

Shall we not pledge to carry 2026 by learning from the mistakes of the past? In 2025 and the years before it, we have seen conflict, greed and extreme neglect of the environment. We have understood that true happiness does not come from economic growth alone. We will carry 2026 with the banner of ‘compassion’ and ‘tolerance’ in our hands.The mistakes of the past were our pride and division.

In 2026, we will correct those mistakes and join hands. We will take an oath to build a green world by overcoming our indifference to protecting the environment. Let us take the initiative to use technology for the benefit of humanity, not for destruction, in this New Year.

In this article, I am adding how people from every level of society should come forward to make 2026 meaningful by bringing world peace, prosperity and brotherhood:
Politicians and those in power: Power should not be a tool for exploitation, but rather a means of service. In 2026, we must forget about political conflicts and ensure world peace at the negotiating table.

Responsible development and rural development: The main goal should not be the glitz of the city, but rather the improvement of the living standards of the marginalized people in the villages. Your role in agro-based industrialization and rural infrastructure development will be immense.

Scientists and economists: Let your talents are used to end hunger and cure deadly diseases. Create an economic structure where the disparity between the rich and the poor is reduced to a minimum.
Businessmen and professionals: Put humanity before profit.If you perform your duties in your respective professions with honesty and devotion, society will change.

Workers, farmers and the public: You are the backbone of this world. With your sweaty labor, 2026 will be the year of prosperity. Regardless of party or opinion, your unity will be the greatest resistance against all evil forces.
In recent years, another major challenge facing the world today is the terrible scourge of drugs and harmful addiction. It is poisoning the universe.

For the wave of awareness that has been created worldwide in the past 2025 to build a drug and alcohol-free society, we, on behalf of the international anti-drug organization, Freedom International Anti-Alcohol, express our deep gratitude to all our partners and volunteers.

We remember with humble respect the sacrifices and labors of those who stood by us in the fight to protect the young society from the blue sting of drugs in every corner of Bangladesh. The challenges of 2025 have taught us that it is possible to build a drug-free world with united efforts; this education will be the main path for us to walk the path of the future.

At the new dawn of 2026, we take an oath—we will further accelerate our activities to give a healthy, strong and talented generation.

Finally, the year 2026 is not just a calendar page before us, it is a huge canvas where we will paint a new world with the colors of our dreams. A Bangladesh free of drugs, eve-teasing, dowry, corruption, violence against women, a peaceful Palestine, a safe childhood and a society free from discrimination—these are not just fantasies, but we have to transform them into reality through hard work.

Let us erase the past, forgive each other’s mistakes and form a bond of brotherhood. May 2026 be the New Year of singing the triumph of humanity, may 2026 be the stepping stone to eternal peace. In the pages of memory, 2025 has taught us how to survive, and in the dreams of the future, 2026 will teach us how to live with dignity.
