Shahjalal Islami Bank wins Gold Award

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has won the Gold Award in the Islamic Banking category at the 12th ICSB National Award-2024 in recognition of its excellence in corporate governance and establishing transparency and accountability in overall management.

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) organized the 12th ICSB National Award-2024 on Monday at a city hotel in the capital, according to a press release.
The Commerce Advisor, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh SK. Bashir Uddin was present as the chief guest in the programme.

The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mosleh Uddin Ahmed received the award from Lutfey Siddiqui, Special Envoy on International Affairs, the Chief Advisor of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Among others, the Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman, the Chairman of Financial Reporting Council Dr. Md. Sajjad Hossain Bhuiyan were also present in the award giving ceremony.
