Manipal Hospitals Launches Information and Telemedicine Service Center in Khulna

Manipal Hospitals, a leading healthcare provider from South India with more than 72 years of experience, has officially launched its Information and Service Center in Khulna, expanding access to advanced medical care and telemedicine services for residents of the region.

The Manipal Hospitals Information and Telemedicine Service Center began operations on Sunday (December 14, 2025) through a joint initiative between Guide Doctor Chamber and Manipal Hospitals. The center aims to provide local patients with comprehensive medical information and remote consultations with specialist doctors from India.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the main gate of the KDA Residential Area, Third Phase, MA Bari Road in Sonadanga, Khulna. Mr. Khalid Hassan, Consultant for International Patient Care and Services (Bangladesh) at Manipal Hospitals, attended the event as the chief guest.

Speaking at the launch, officials said the center will facilitate telemedicine consultations across a wide range of medical specialties, including cancer care, nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery, spine care, orthopaedics, rheumatology, pulmonology, gastroenterology and gastrointestinal sciences, obstetrics and gynaecology, and laparoscopic surgery.

The center will also serve as a one-stop information hub, providing patients with access to medical services and treatment options available at Manipal Hospitals’ branches in Bengaluru, Kolkata and Delhi.

Officials expressed hope that the new facility would significantly improve access to specialized healthcare services for patients in Khulna and surrounding areas, reducing the need for travel abroad for initial consultations and medical guidance.
