5 held with kidnap drama

Chittagong metropolitan police rescued a kidnapped youth named Jane Alam(22) from Bisha colony of Akber shah thana area in city on Sunday night.
Along with the rescue of the abduct, police also managed to apprehend 5 kidnappers allegedly involved with the abduction . Police sources said Jane Alam was abducted from Bhatiary area under Hathazari thana on Wednesday last .
After his abduction, the kidnappers demanded ransom of Tk.3 lakh from his family members . Additional Deputy commissioner of police SM Tanveer Arafat told that after receipt of complaints from the family members of Jane Alam, police rescued the abduct with the custody of the abductors .
A case under abduction act has been lodged with the police , sources said.
