Mushfiqur Rahim makes record for Bangladesh

Ace batter Mushfiqur Rahim made record for Bangladesh Cricket team. He is the first batter of Bangladesh who played 100 Test matches and also hit a century in his 100th Test match. Mushfiqur Rahim notched up a sedate 106. His 214-ball innings was ornamented with five fours. The 38-year ace batter played 284 minutes in his marvelous innings.

Mushfiqur Rahim achieved this feat against Ireland on the second of the play of their second Test match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur on Thursday. Mushfiqur Rahim resumed his innings with the over-night score of 99 on Wednesday last. Mushfiqur Rahim had to wait one day to earn the feat. The right-arm batter hit his 13th century in Test cricket. Mominul Haque of Bangladesh also hit 13 centuries in Test cricket. Mushfiqur Rahim played 183 innings in his Test campaign.

He scored 6457 runs in his career. Mushfiqur Rahim’s highest score was 219 (not out) in his Test career. Mushfiqur Rahim also hit 27 half-centuries in his Test career. He is a man from Bogura. He was born on May 9 in 1987. He made his Test debut against England at the Lord’s on May 26 in 2005.

He has already retired from ODI format and also T20I cricket.
Mushfiqur Rahim was also the captain of the Tigers in his Test career.
