NIST holds prog

The orientation programme of the 2024-2025 session’s freshers’and farewell of 2019-2020 session’s students of National Institute of Science & Technology (NIST) was held at Bijoy Milonayton of the institute at Panthapath on Tuesday.

Professor Md. Lutfor Rahman, Pro Vice Chancellor of National University of Bangladesh was present as the Chief Guest at the program While Professor Dr. Israfil Shaheen, Chairman, Governingbody of NIST, Kazi Tamanna Haque Sigma Theatre and Performance Studies Dept.

Chairman of University of Dhaka, and Professor Dr. Mohammad Shakawat Hossain, Executive Director of National University Affiliated Institute of Daffodil Group ware present as Special Guests, says a press release.

The orientation program was presided by Tanjida Supta Principal (Current Charge) of National Institute of Science & Technology. Salma Afrose, Lecturer and Convenor of the program delivered the welcome speech in the program. A gala cultural event was presented at the end of the program.
