IIUC delegates visit UITM Malaysia

The International Islamic University Chattagram (IIUC) delegates, led by Professor Dr. Mohammad Ali Azadi, Vice-Chancellor of IIUC, along with Prof. Dr. Mohammad Aktaruzzaman Khan, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies and Director, IQAC, IIUC, visit University Technology MARA (UITM), Malaysia on Tuesday.

International Islamic University Chattagram (IIUC) has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with University Technology MARA (UITM), before signing the formal MoU.

UITM is the largest university of Malaysia with 1,88,000 student population having 9000 faculty members in 34 campuses in Malaysia.

At the meeting, high officials of UITM, Prof. Ts.Dr. Norazah Abd Rahman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation); Prof. Ts. Sr. Dr. Md. Yusof Hamid, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development); Prof. Dr. Haji Mohd Sazili Shahibi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs); Prof. Dr. Nor Azura Md Ghani, Director, Research Management Center (RMC); Prof. Dr. Zuraidah Mohd Sanusi, Director, Accounting Research Institute (ARI); Prof. Dr. Nor Balkish Zakaria (ARI); and Dr. Muhammad Nazmul Hoque expressed hope that both institutions will collaborate in areas of mutual interest.

The LoI makes it possible for the higher learning institutions to initiate exchange programs involving both academics and students, collaborate in research activities, and organize events that promote knowledge-sharing.

Professor Dr Mohammad Ali Azadi, Vice-Chancellor of IIUC thanked the deputy vice chancellors and directors of UITM center and institute for their full support in realising the partnership.
