Janata Bank holds divisional managers’ conference

Janata Bank PLC held its Rangpur Divisional Branch Managers’ Conference on Sunday at a local auditorium.

Chairman Muhammad Fazlur Rahman, CSP attended as chief guest, while Managing Director Md. Mozibur Rahman was present as special guest.

Presided over by General Manager Md. Abdul Barek Chowdhury, the event was joined by senior executives and branch managers from the region, according to press release.

Chairman Fazlur Rahman urged officials to lend responsibly, focusing on clients’ repayment capacity and timely loan recovery.

The MD emphasized collecting low-cost deposits, reducing default loans, and maintaining strict compliance with bank policies.

A day earlier, the MD inaugurated a training session on “Importance of SWIFT ISO 20022 (MX) Migration” and two financial literacy workshops in Rangpur and Dinajpur.
